Sunday Drive or Saturday Crash?
Sunday Drive or Saturday Crash?
On Saturday, January 28 just outside of Tallahassee, FL on I-10, Sunday Drive was hit unexpectedly by an out of control vehicle as they were headed to their next concert in Panama City. A side impact sent them spinning out of control, flipping their trailer and leaving the van sitting in oncoming traffic. The Lord's hand of protection truly was covering them through it all. No one was seriously injured even though the van and trailer were a total loss and some sound equipment was damaged. Bryant Thigpen of LifeSong spent the day helping them secure transportation to get to the next concert and home. Sunday Drive would like to thank everyone for their prayers. They certainly were felt. "Bruises and soreness will heal, things can be replaced and looking at what happened one cannot deny that It's A God Thing." said Misty Treece.

A Song For Bekah

SUNDAY DRIVE’S LATEST SINGLE “IT’S A GOD THING” - A SONG FOR BEKAH
November 4, 2011, was a day that changed the life of 17 year old Lenoir City, TN High School student Bekah and her family forever. She was headed to school on this rainy day and involved in a horrible accident less than a mile from her home fracturing 6 vertebrae and dislocating her spine. They were told she needed surgery and would probably never walk again.
When Bekah and her family heard Sunday Drive’s song, “It’s A God Thing”, with tear filled eyes, they knew the second verse was her story.
With the Lord’s divine healing power and continued prayers—a miracle unfolded before the eyes of many. Four days later Bekah took her first five steps. The doctors and nurses called her a miracle, her friends and family were inspired by her courage because she never once complained as to why this had to happen to her, she had this same smile through it all, she was a ray of hope giving God the glory and was touching lives throughout the hospital, throughout her school, on Facebook and beyond. She was home by Thanksgiving and is now receiving outpatient therapy. The road ahead is still long but Bekah continues to keep the smile on her face to show that God still performs miracles.
Sunday Drive will be doing a concert to help Bekah and her family with current and future medical expenses. If you would like to donate, please visit www.sundaydrive.biz/bekah

Sunday Drive on Route 66
The month of August took the inspirational country group, Sunday Drive, along the historic Route 66 with a west coast destination. The tour began in Oklahoma with three great concerts and guest harmonica player, Dale Ozment (formerly with Blake Shelton). With so many things to do and see, the band made stops at the Grand Canyon, Albuquerque and then headed to California. After a memorable concert in Escondido, California with the Clint Miller Band, the next destination was the Let’s Make A Deal taping in Hollywood, California. Jeff, Misty and Dusty Treece all ended up with front aisle seats. Be sure to watch for them on the show hosted by Wayne Brady set to air November 3, 2010 on CBS. Jeff is Rockin’ Chef Jeff, Misty is his birthday cupcake creation, & Dusty is a banana! After a day of television taping adventures, more fun was to be had at the Santa Monica Pier, Downtown Los Angeles, Rodeo Drive, the Hollywood sign and of course a visit to In-N-Out Burger! The Crossroads in Yuba City, California welcomed us with open arms and a packed house for an amazing Saturday evening concert. San Francisco, a long ride in Death Valley, Las Vegas & the Hoover Dam rounded out this road trip which provided unforgettable memories. We met some great people along the way. Be watching for Sunday Drive coming YOUR way!
